• 3 October 2011 – venue bidding opens; bid proposals from individuals/groups to meet/exceed the venue requirements
• 26 November 2011 – venue bidding closes; bidding closes 1200 (midday) GMT
• 27 November 2011 – 2013 venue bid selection opens; discussion on bids and selection of the winner conducted on the WPUK mailing list (registration required)
• 11 December 2011 – 2013 venue bid selection closes; decision to be reached by 2359 GMT
• 12 December 2011 – selected venue announced followed by WordCamp Central processing
• 27 January 2012 – selected venue feedback by WordCamp Central; feedback communicated to the WPUK mailing list
• 28 January 2012 – venue bookings and other arrangements start to be made by winning bidders and the WPUK Core Group; call for sponsors
• 27 February 2012 – content ideas invited; content ideas invited on WPUK mailing list
• 13 May 2012 – 2012 Edinburgh WordCamp site launches; Early Bird (discount) Ticket and Microsponsor sales start
• 1 June 2012 – (Midday) Early Bird Ticket sales end; Standard (full price) Ticket sales start
• 28 June 2012 – (1900) due to event t-shirt production lead times, ticket sales with suitably-sized t-shirts end and sponsorship with t-shirt credit ends; tickets sales will continue after this date but availability of suitably-sized t-shirts may not be available; sponsorship will continue after this date but without t-shirt credits
• 14-15 July 2012 – WordCamp Edinburgh UK 2012
