• Wednesday 9 January 2014 – venue bidding opens; bid proposals from individuals/groups to meet/exceed the venue requirements
• Saturday 22 March 2014 – venue bidding closes; bidding closes 1200 (midday) GMT (please note this deadline has now been extended twice, and due to the lead time in organising the event, no further extensions will be possible)
• Tuesday 25 March 2014 – venue bid selection opens; discussion on bids and selection of the winner conducted on WPUK Discuss
• Sunday 6 April 2014 – venue bid selection closes; decision to be reached by 1200 (midday) GMT
• Monday 7 April 2014 – selected venue announced, followed by WordCamp Central processing, venue bookings and other arrangements start to be made by winning bidders and the WPUK Core Group
• Monday 5 May 2014 – selected venue feedback by WordCamp Central; feedback communicated on WPUK Discuss
• Wednesday 21 May 2014 – call for sponsors
• Thursday 22 May 2014 – £10 Early Bird (discount) Ticket and Microsponsor sales start; event site launches
• Sunday 8 June 2014 – (midday) £10 Early Bird Ticket sales end; £20 Standard Ticket (full price) sales start
• Thursday 3 July 2014 – (1900) due to event t-shirt production lead times, ticket sales with suitably-sized t-shirts end; tickets sales will continue after this date but suitably-sized t-shirts may not be available
• Saturday-Sunday 12-13 July 2014 – WordCamp Bournemouth UK 2014
